Blackpink made a special appearance at Buckingham Palace

The group was invited to the banquet held in honor of the Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol for his visit in London. 

At the banquet, King Charles praised the members of Blackpink and emphasized Korea's rich culture and creativity. He also applauded Korea's commitment to democracy, freedom, and human rights, noting that these values were upheld despite the looming threat of aggression.  

The King showed his respect to Jennie, Lisa, Rose, and Jisoo, collectively known as Blackpink, praising their pivotal role in advocating for global environmental sustainability. He commended their contributions as ambassadors during the UK's presidency of Cop26 and their subsequent advocacy for the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Ending on a lighter note, he humorously remarked, 'I can only admire how they prioritize these vital issues while being global superstars. Sadly, when I was in Seoul all those years ago, I'm not sure I developed much of what might be called the Gangnam Style!' This brought a smile to the guests in the room."  

The four members will undoubtedly treasure this incredible memory, as being invited and receiving tribute from the King isn't an easy feat.
