BOYNEXTDOOR is back with their new album “No genre”

On May 13, BOYNEXTDOOR released their brand-new album “No Genre”. This album demonstrates that the boy group is not confined to a single musical style and is capable of exploring a diverse range of genres.

During their conference with the reporters, the members explained how they approached each song differently based on the genre , “There’s something really jazzy as well as hip-hop. The lead track, ‘I Feel Good,’ is a mix of hip-hop and funk, while there’s also a city pop song and a medium-tempo R&B in the list as well. We made sure to approach each song differently.”

Despite the album's title, the members view No Genre as a celebration of musical versatility. They emphasized their strong teamwork and mutual trust, which allows them to explore various styles confidently. “If one of us can't do something, we know we can rely on each other,” they shared.

BOYNEXTDOOR debuted on May 30, 2023, under KOZ Entertainment, a subsidiary of HYBE Corporation founded by Zico of Block B. The group consists of six members: Taesan, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Sungho, Leehan, and Woonhak. The members learned a lot from their producer and mentor Zico, who give a lot of importance to “Diligence, politeness, passion and never forgetting to share greetings others,”.

The group ended the conference by revealing that they’re seriously considering making a full album and already talked about it with their producers. Something to look forward to, OneDoor!
