SM Entertainement receives criticism from EXO-L for excluding Exo of the season’s greetings announcement.

On October 23rd, SM Entertainment made an exciting announcement about the start of pre-orders for the season's greetings of several groups, including TVXQ, Aespa, Super Junior, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, and RIIZE. The company also provided fans with insights into the concepts and inclusions for each artist's season's greetings, which would naturally vary based on the specific group's theme. 

However, the announcement inadvertently left some fans disappointed. Shawols (fans of Shinee), SONEs (Girls' Generation fans), and EXO-Ls (EXO fans) expressed their frustration on the internet when they realized that their favorite groups were not included in the initial announcement. 

To address this concern, SM Entertainment promptly took to social media to clarify the situation. They informed fans that the pre-orders for Shinee and Girls' Generation season's greetings would be delayed until November due to scheduling constraints with the respective artists. This information was reassuring to Shawols and SONEs, as it indicated that their favorite groups were not being excluded but simply experiencing a slight delay. 

However, EXO-Ls were left even more angrier, as no mention was made about the season's greetings for EXO. 

Some EXO-Ls have speculated that, given the rumors surrounding the departures of members like Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen from SM Entertainment next year, and D.O. having already left the company, it may be challenging for the group to release something 2024. 

Nevertheless, EXO-Ls are eager to remind SM Entertainment that the company remains responsible for EXO, as the group is still a part of SM Entertainment. They emphasize that, regardless of any discord with the members, the group should continue to be treated with respect and care. 

Some EXO-Ls have also expressed that they don't necessarily expect a new season's greeting for the group. Instead, their frustration lies in the perception that SM Entertainment has not consistently treated them and their favorite artists with the respect and transparency they deserve.
