Discover the cute story behind the song “하품 (Yawn)” of Seventeen

Seventeen released their new albums “Seventeenth Heaven” on the 23rd of October. For the occasion, the group provided insights into the new songs featured on the album.

The song "하품 (Yawn)" was written by Woozi, one of the members, and sung by the vocal team, which includes Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, and Seungkwan.

The song is described as a ballad with poetic lyrics, often referred to as the "Woozi signature" by the members.

As the members introduced "Yawn," Carats couldn't help but shed tears upon hearing Seungkwan's heartfelt words: "Woozi sent this song to me personally the day after he created it. It was during a period when I was taking a break. As soon as I played the song and the instrumental began, my emotions overflowed, and I found myself crying from the very first verse."

Earlier this year, Seungkwan took a break following the sudden loss of his best friend, Moonbin, a member of Astro, in April. This break allowed him the time and space needed for healing.
