BTS V's stalker has been arrested

On Friday, the 27th, it was confirmed that a woman in her twenties was arrested by the Seoul Gangnam Police for stalking V. The incident occurred the day before when the woman entered the elevator of the artist's building around 6:30 PM KST and attempted to interact with him. 

Reports indicate that the woman had been waiting outside the building where V resides and sneaked in when his car entered the parking lot. According to KBS, she also gave him a marriage certificate and was using the information written on this certificate when she was arrested. Apparently, the woman ran away after she entered the elevator after leaving the certificate. 

The woman was identified thanks to the CCTV footage and the report of the security guard. The police also found out that she already has a history of stalking V in the past. She was prohibited from approaching V in future (not allowed to be within 100 meters of V). 

Hybe immediately posted a statement saying “We are responding with a no-tolerance policy to stalking crimes that disturb our artist’s personal life and threaten their safety” 

The idol went immediately on Weverse after the news dropped to reassure his fans. He took time to post a picture of him in front of the sunset and said “I’m okay, don’t worry” 

V made his solo debut with the release of his first album, "Layover," on September 8, featuring the title track "Rainy Days."
