Kim Sejeong will make her debut on the theater stage

Kim Sejeong is a South Korean singer and actress, who initially gained recognition through her participation in the survival show "Produce 101," and which led to her becoming a part of the project group I.O.I. Following I.O.I.’s disbandment, she spent four years as a member of Gugudan before eventually embarking on her solo career. 

For the first time since her debut, Kim Sejeong is set to take on the lead role in the theater production of "Temple." She has previously already showcased her talent in musicals such as "Red Book Musical." 

"Temple" is a play inspired by the true story of Dr. Temple Grandin, a renowned animal scientist who was diagnosed with autism during her childhood. The play delves into Dr. Grandin's journey towards self-acceptance, with the support of her mother and mentor. 

In 2017, Kim Sejeong launched her acting career with a role in the drama "School 2017. She then continued with bigger roles in“The uncanny counter” and “Business proposal” in which she starred alongside the renowned actor and singer, Ahn Hyo-seop.
