Sungjong is seeking to terminate his contract with SPK Entertainment and intends to pursue legal action

On January 16, Sungjong (Infinite) notified SPK Entertainment of the termination of his exclusive contract at the end of last year, providing several pieces of evidence 

According to a report by 'The Fact,' it has been confirmed that the termination of the contract is attributed to the agency's lack of support for fan meetings, broadcasting appearances, and album releases (no human or material support provided). Additionally, it was verified that the agency failed to fulfill its commitment to pay for the settlement activities.  

The CEO of SPK Entertainment was approached for clarification on the situation but declined, stating, “I have nothing to say”. Despite several attempts from Sungjong's side to reach an agreement, they were unsuccessful, as the SPK representative failed to respond. 

Sungjong signed his exclusive contract in 2022, and aside from his involvement with Infinite, he has released only one solo single. Despite successfully organizing concerts and fan meetings and achieving significant sales for both large-scale events and albums with Infinite, his representatives continue to assert that he has not received any payment for these activities. 

All attention is now directed toward them to observe their next move and ascertain the possibility of reaching an agreement.
