The Boyz’ Sunwoo hospitalized for Neuralgia and Neuritis

A few weeks ago, Sunwoo received diagnoses of Neuralgia and Neuritis after experiencing persistent pains in his shoulders and neck area.

Despite being diagnosed during the comeback weeks for their new album, Sunwoo expressed his determination to actively participate in the group's activities, despite medical advice to minimize excessive movement.

In medical terminology, Neuralgia describes a severe and abrupt pain originating from the nerves, often induced by inflammation, known as neuritis. The symptoms can cause weakness, limpness, or paralysis in the muscles and can sometimes spread to the hands.

On December 11, Sunwoo was quickly taken to the hospital by his management due to a sudden deterioration in his health. Reports indicate that the rapper is presently undergoing treatment at the hospital and will require a minimum of one week of rest to recover.

Sunwoo will not be participating in the 2023 Asia Artist Awards in the Philippines (2023 AAA) in December.
