Breaking her seven-year hiatus from the acting realm, BoA is set to make her return to the screens

SM Entertainement recently confirmed that BoA  has been cast in the drama “Marry my husband”. This marks her return to the screen, representing her first venture into acting since her noteworthy leading role in 2017's "Autumn Sonata." 

BoA, born Kwon Boah, is a renowned South Korean singer and actress. Making her debut in the year 2000, she swiftly earned the well-deserved title of the "Queen of K-pop." BoA has left an indelible mark on the music industry, boasting a prolific career that includes the release of twenty albums. In 2022, she joined the project girl group “GOT the beat” with Winter and Karina (Aespa), Seulgi and Wendy (Red Velvet) and Hyoyeon and Taeyeon (Girls’ Generation). 

“Marry my husband” will follow the story of a woman who is murdered shortly after witnessing her husband's affair. She is then returned to her body 10 years in the past and given a chance to live her life a second time, all the while plotting revenge. BoA is set to share the screen with the talented Na Inwoo and Park Minyoung. 

The fantasy drama is scheduled to premiere on January 1, 2024. Viewers can already mark their calendars to catch the enchanting episodes every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 pm KST.  

The news has sparked considerable excitement within the entertainment community, as fans eagerly anticipate BoA's comeback to the acting scene and look forward to witnessing her talent unfold in this new project.
