BTOB has officially parted ways with Cube Entertainment

On November 6, Cube Entertainment released a statement announcing BTOB's departure from the agency. 

The group, formed in March 2012, originally consisted of six members: Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Lee Changsub, Im Hyunsik, Peniel, and Yook Sungjae. After discussions with the company, it was mutually agreed that the members would not renew their contracts. 

In the statement the company thanks the members and Melody (BTOB’s fans) for the 11 years under Cube Entertainment. 

“We send our gratitude to BTOB, who showcased performances to be proud of for a long period of time as [artists] under Cube Entertainment, as well as MELODY (BTOB’s official fan club) who always became BTOB’s strength by their side. 

Although Cube Entertainment and BTOB’s relationship will unfortunately end here, we will sincerely support the new growth and shining futures of the BTOB members who have unlimited potential.” 

The group is currently in discussions with Cube regarding the trademark rights for their group's name. Further information will be provided once final decisions are reached. 

We can already wish BTOB the best on their new journey with Melody.
