Changsun announces Tan will go their separate ways for now

Recently, the leader of Tan published a letter addressed to their fans announcing that the group will separate ways for now. 

In the letter, Changsun explained that he worked really hard and was able to endure for 10 years thanks to the people who loved and supported him, especially his fans. 

He continued by saying that he made great memories with the other members but has to step down as the leader of Tan at this time.  

All the members agreed to find their own paths for now, and unless the group one day comes back together as "Tan," Changsun has decided not to pursue an idol career. 

“And if I get the chance later, unless we can reunite as TAN again, I don’t think there will be another me as an idol. But I think I’ll keep dancing, so maybe there’ll be a chance to meet you all? I think…!” 

“This is something I’ve said a lot, but thank you very much, 

This is something I haven’t said enough, but I love you!!!” 

Tan is a boy group of seven members that debuted in 2022 and signed a 2.5-year contract under "Think Entertainment," which came to an end this year. Their contracts were not extended after the label was caught in a legal controversy. 

The members will continue their solo activities with their respective agencies and enlist in the military accordingly. The option of a possible reunion afterwards, remains open.
