iPurple's Statement on FIFTY FIFTY

Dear iPurple Community,

First, we want to sincerely thank everyone who has shared their thoughts on the ongoing situation involving FIFTY FIFTY and ATTRAKT. Your feedback has shown us just how deeply you care about the values behind supporting your favorite artists, and we take that to heart.

We understand this is a complex and divisive issue, with our community almost evenly split on how to approach it. On one hand, many of you have expressed concerns about supporting a company involved in allegations of mistreatment toward its artists, calling for a boycott as a stand for ethical practices in the industry. On the other hand, some of you believe that the new members of FIFTY FIFTY shouldn’t be punished for the actions of their management, and that supporting their music is an act of encouragement for their future.

iPurple recognizes the sensitivity of both perspectives. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to continue selling the FIFTY FIFTY album with a unique approach: we will be donating a portion of the proceeds to non-profit organization(s) that support ethical practices and oppose injustices within the industry.
We believe this decision allows fans who want to support the new lineup to do so while also contributing to a positive cause that aligns with the concerns raised by the community.

We hope this solution acknowledges the complexities of the situation, and we remain committed to listening to your voices as we move forward together.
