Jessi opens up about her future and her experiences in her last company

In a recent interview with Jay Park, the founder and CEO of More Vision, Jessi openly discussed her artistic plans and how her previous company didn't allow her to create the kind of music she truly desired.

Jessi's journey began with the debut of her 18-year-long career. She initially left for the United States, then returned to Korea, undergoing several name changes along the way. She transitioned from being called Jessica H.O, then became a part of Uptown, working as Lucky J, before ultimately returning to her original name, Jessi.

During the interview, the singer explained that her life experiences and challenges have played a pivotal role in shaping her into the person she is today. She emphasized that the struggles she faced along her journey have made her wiser.

Jessi also discussed the immense pressure she felt following the success of her song "Zoom." She expressed her desire to create more relatable music, but her previous agency's focus on creating pop music for profit often hindered her. Jessi went on to explain her aspiration to craft songs that connect with those who are going through mental struggles or experiencing heartbreak.

The interview concluded with Jessi expressing her willingness to take risks and embrace new challenges. She mentioned her interest in exploring different agencies and learning from each experience, emphasizing that she doesn't want to be tied to one label for the rest of her life.
