Yeseo & Mashiro will re-debut in the new girl group MADEIN

In May, it was confirmed that seven members of Kep1er had agreed on contract extensions, while Mashiro and Yeseo signed contracts with 143 Entertainment. The departure of the two members from Kep1er was confirmed at the end of May by WAKEONE.

"We would like to thank Mashiro and Yeseo for their dedication and hard work for the past two and a half years as members of Kep1er. We will do our best to support them in their endeavors in the future."

On July 16, 143 Entertainment shared the logo of their upcoming girl group MAIDEN, which stands for ‘WE MADEIN U,’ meaning that it’s a group made with the love of fans. Most members of this group will be coming from a survival show.

A Korean outlet revealed that the two ex-members of Kep1er will re-debut with MAIDEN in September

In the meantime, fans left heartfelt comments under the MV of “Shooting Star,” such as, "This is not just a song, it's our memories, it's our story," and, "The fact that this was clearly intended to be their disbandment song, only for it not to be a farewell to us, but to Yeseo and Mashiro."
