Kep1er, a girl group formed through "Girls Planet 999," debuted with nine members in January 2022 and was set to disband in July 2024. On May 16, it was announced that seven members' contracts will be extended, excluding Mashiro and Yeseo, who joined Limelight under 143 Entertainment. The group's agency, Wakeone, is still reviewing their contracts and preparing for a comeback on June 3 with the album "Kep1going On.
